About Us

Silent Sports Outfitters was founded in 1993 by Hal White and Mary Gordon. Paddlesports was their passion and they created a store that reflected that passion. In September of 2018, both Hal and Mary retired and passed on the torch to Ryan Nowakowski. Ryan is an avid outdoorsman and you can usually find him out on the water when he's not in the store. Whether it's a stand up paddleboard, fishing kayak, or a surfski, he is always looking to enjoy what our local waters have to offer.
